Mmmmmmm Banana Bread is sooo good! I always put chocolate in mine and I’ll show you how with this delicious recipe; its so good you will want to eat it for breakfast every single day, and you should!
First preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease a bread pan and sprinkle with flour
Next take 2 large bananas or 4 smaller ones that are very ripe and mash them up in a bowl with a fork
In a large bowl cream together a cup or so of brown sugar and 3/4 cup of butter (adjust the butter to your liking – I LOVE butter so I always put in a little extra)
Add your mashed bananas, a couple splashes of vanilla and 2 eggs, mix well
Then add 2 or 3 handfuls of flour, (I use White Whole Wheat flour always) a pinch of baking soda, a smaller pinch of salt and 2 shakes of cinnamon
Pour half the batter into the greased pan and layer with chocolate chips
Pour the rest of the batter on top of the chocolate chips and throw it in the oven for an hour!
Check the middle with a fork to make sure its done…
TA-DA!!! Here is the final product! Make this today and enjoy it for breakfast, (or lunch or dinner) for up to a week (Keep it in the fridge for best results)
- You can sprinkle Old-Fashioned Oats on top (super good)
- You can sprinkle sliced almonds and sea salt on top (yum-yum)
